Egg Collector

Job description

We are looking to fill a Barn Operator/Egg Collector role in Ariss, ON. The role is responsible for working with team members in egg collection and completing general barn duties.

This position runs on a straight day shift. Weekend work is required every 4th week and is scheduled in advance.

What are your main tasks and responsibilities?

  • Working with team members in egg collection
  • Completing general barn duties which involves feeding and bedding
  • Maintaining barn and all equipment
  • Handling and loading birds as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Your profile

    • Ability to handle physical work; lifting up to 30-40 lbs
    • Must be able to complete repetitive work and standing for extended periods of time
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; work under pressure
    • Must be able to perform tasks with limited supervision
    • Must have own reliable transportation
