Hatchery Worker

As a Hatchery Worker in Beatrice Nebraska you will work with team members fulfilling responsibilities for hatch preparation in a turkey hatchery.  Your ability to handle moderate physical work along with working in a fast-paced environment will be necessary in the handling of eggs and general functional duties.  The challenge of performing repetitive work and standing for extended periods of time are required to complete everyday tasks.  Bringing a desire to learn the proper handling, cleaning and safety of the birds will lead to your success in this role.

• Work with team members in egg handling, hatcher preparation, hatches and general clean up
  
• Box making, stacking, packing and other general duties
  
• Maintain proper handling, cleaning and safety of the birds
  
• Meet all of the operating procedures as outlined by company policy
  
• Shifts will start between 5:00am and 7:00am depending on hatch days
  

• Ability to handle moderate to physical work
• Must be able to complete repetitive work and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
• Must be able to perform tasks with limited supervision
• Proven reliability in work attendance and willingness to give best effort
• Must have own reliable transportation
